Image edit

I removed this image from the page... I was just wondering if we should note it somewhere else.... It is an image that could be associated with the religion, but I don't know that this image of Moroni is the best. Perhaps one on a temple spire? Or is the first vision image better? Just looking for a consensus and additional ideas. --Mkoyle 21:16, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

My original intention was to find "logos" for the religions, but it quickly unravelled as many denominations don't have specific logos. Actually...an idea occurs to me, I'll go test it. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Honoré de Balzac 23:12, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I've heard of this problem of trying to find a "logo" for Mormonism before...it doesn't really have one since we don't use the cross. The graphic of Moroni blowing the trumpet appears to be a symbol used by the government - I had actually never seen it before I saw it on this page. I didn't really mind it...I had just never seen it before. I do like the FV image though, so I don't mind if we leave that one. Bochica 01:38, 11 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sources that aren't here edit

There have been so many small periodicals and other works that I have never heard of that I feel it will be helpful to have a list of items that aren't here yet that we can look for. Many of them could be quite difficult to obtain (I am not certain, but it seems that the periodicals from England that haven't been republished in books could be quite difficult to find. I just stumbled across mention of one in a Hall County, Nebraska, history book: The Huntsman's Echo. A Nebraska historical marker is interesting.[1] Most of this seems like Wikipedia information, but it would be nice to obtain the actual text of the paper here, along with so many others. Anyway, to avoid cluttering the page with things I have never seen, I am starting a page in my userspace. Feel free to add anything you are aware of that you don't actually have a link to at User:Mkoyle/Latter-day Saint Sources. --Mkoyle 16:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect categorization of Mormonism edit

Mormonism should be appearing under the category of "Nontrinitarian."
