| In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. | Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi | |
| 055:001 | The Most Compassionate. | Alrrahmanu |
| 055:002 | Teacher of the Quran. | AAallama alqur-ana |
| 055:003 | Creator of the human being. | Khalaqa al-insana |
| 055:004 | He taught him how to distinguish. | AAallamahu albayana |
| 055:005 | The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated. | Alshshamsu waalqamaru bihusbanin |
| 055:006 | And the herbs and the trees submit. | Waalnnajmu waalshshajaru yasjudani |
| 055:007 | And He raised the sky and He established the balance. | Waalssamaa rafaAAaha wawadaAAa almeezana |
| 055:008 | Do not transgress in the balance. | Alla tatghaw fee almeezani |
| 055:009 | And observe the weight with equity, and do not fall short in the balance. | Waaqeemoo alwazna bialqisti wala tukhsiroo almeezana |
| 055:010 | And the Earth He has made for all creatures. | Waal-arda wadaAAaha lil-anami |
| 055:011 | In it are fruits, and date palms with their hanging fruit. | Feeha fakihatun waalnnakhlu thatu al-akmami |
| 055:012 | And grains and the spices. | Waalhabbu thoo alAAasfi waalrrayhani |
| 055:013 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:014 | He created the human from a clay, like pottery. | Khalaqa al-insana min salsalin kaalfakhkhari |
| 055:015 | And the Jinn He created from a smokeless fire. | Wakhalaqa aljanna min marijin min narin |
| 055:016 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:017 | The Lord of the two easts and the two wests. | Rabbu almashriqayni warabbu almaghribayni |
| 055:018 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:019 | He merges the two seas where they meet. | Maraja albahrayni yaltaqiyani |
| 055:020 | A barrier is placed between them, which they do not cross. | Baynahuma barzakhun la yabghiyani |
| 055:021 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:022 | Out of both of them comes pearls and coral. | Yakhruju minhuma allu/luo waalmarjanu |
| 055:023 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:024 | And to Him are the ships that roam the sea like flags. | Walahu aljawari almunshaatu fee albahri kaal-aAAlami |
| 055:025 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |

| 055:026 | Everyone upon it will fade-away. | Kullu man AAalayha fanin |
| 055:027 | And the presence of your Lord will remain, the One with Majesty and Honour. | Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thoo aljalali waal-ikrami |
| 055:028 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:029 | Those in the heavens and Earth ask Him, everyday He is in some matter. | Yas-aluhu man fee alssamawati waal-ardi kulla yawmin huwa fee sha/nin |
| 055:030 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:031 | We will call you to account, both of you beings. | Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha alththaqalani |
| 055:032 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:033 | O tribes of Jinn and humans, if you can penetrate the outer limits of the heavens and the Earth, then go ahead and penetrate. You will not penetrate without authority. | Ya maAAshara aljinni waal-insi ini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawati waal-ardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoona illa bisultanin |
| 055:034 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:035 | There will be sent against both of you projectiles of fire and copper, and you cannot win. | Yursalu AAalaykuma shuwathun min narin wanuhasun fala tantasirani |
| 055:036 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:037 | Then, when the universe is torn, and turns like a rose coloured paint. | Fa-itha inshaqqati alssamao fakanat wardatan kaalddihani |
| 055:038 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:039 | On that Day, no more questioning is asked of human or Jinn as to his sins. | Fayawma-ithin la yus-alu AAan thanbihi insun wala jannun |
| 055:040 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:041 | The guilty will be recognized by their features; they will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. | YuAArafu almujrimoona biseemahum fayu/khathu bialnnawasee waal-aqdami |
| 055:042 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:043 | This is Hell that the criminals used to deny. | Hathihi jahannamu allatee yukaththibu biha almujrimoona |
| 055:044 | They will move between it and a boiling liquid. | Yatoofoona baynaha wabayna hameemin anin |
| 055:045 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |

| 055:046 | And for he who reverenced the majesty of his Lord, will be two paradises. | Waliman khafa maqama rabbihi jannatani |
| 055:047 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:048 | Full of provisions. | Thawata afnanin |
| 055:049 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:050 | In them are two springs, flowing. | Feehima AAaynani tajriyani |
| 055:051 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:052 | In them will be of every fruit, in pairs. | Feehima min kulli fakihatin zawjani |
| 055:053 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:054 | While reclining upon furnishings lined with satin, the fruits of the two paradises are within reach. | Muttaki-eena AAala furushin bata-inuha min istabraqin wajana aljannatayni danin |
| 055:055 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:056 | In them are attendants with a splendid look, unknown before by any human or Jinn. | Feehinna qasiratu alttarfi lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun |
| 055:057 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:058 | They look like rubies and coral. | Kaannahunna alyaqootu waalmarjanu |
| 055:059 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:060 | Is there any reward for goodness except goodness? | Hal jazao al-ihsani illa al-ihsanu |
| 055:061 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:062 | And besides these will be two other paradises. | Wamin doonihima jannatani |
| 055:063 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:064 | Dark green in color. | Mudhammatani |
| 055:065 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:066 | In them, two springs which gush forth. | Feehima AAaynani naddakhatani |
| 055:067 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:068 | In them are fruits, date palms, and pomegranate. | Feehima fakihatun wanakhlun warummanun |
| 055:069 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:070 | In them is what is good and beautiful. | Feehinna khayratun hisanun |
| 055:071 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:072 | Companions, inside grand pavilions. | Hoorun maqsooratun fee alkhiyami |
| 055:073 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:074 | No human has ever touched them, nor Jinn. | Lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun |
| 055:075 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:076 | Reclining on green carpets, in beautiful surroundings. | Muttaki-eena AAala rafrafin khudrin waAAabqariyyin hisanin |
| 055:077 | So which of your Lord's favours will you deny? | Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani |
| 055:078 | Glorified be the name of your Lord, Possessor of Majesty and Honour. | Tabaraka ismu rabbika thee aljalali waal-ikrami |
