	In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful.	Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
057:001	Glorifying God is everything in the heavens and the Earth. He is the Noble, the Wise.	Sabbaha lillahi ma fee alssamawati waal-ardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
057:002	To Him is the kingship of the heavens and the Earth. He brings life and death. And He is capable of all things.	Lahu mulku alssamawati waal-ardi yuhyee wayumeetu wahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun
057:003	He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Innermost. And He is fully aware of all things.	Huwa al-awwalu waal-akhiru waalththahiru waalbatinu wahuwa bikulli shay-in AAaleemun
057:004	He is the One who created the heavens and the Earth in six days, then He settled over the dominion. He knows everything that enters into the land, and everything that comes out of it, and everything that comes down from the sky, and everything that climbs into it. And He is with you wherever you may be. God is Seer of everything you do.	Huwa allathee khalaqa alssamawati waal-arda fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi yaAAlamu ma yaliju fee al-ardi wama yakhruju minha wama yanzilu mina alssama-i wama yaAAruju feeha wahuwa maAAakum ayna ma kuntum waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun
057:005	To Him is the kingship of the heavens and the Earth, and to God all matters are returned.	Lahu mulku alssamawati waal-ardi wa-ila Allahi turjaAAu al-omooru
057:006	He merges the night into the day, and merges the day into the night. He is fully aware of what is inside the chests.	Yooliju allayla fee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara fee allayi wahuwa AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
057:007	Believe in God and His messenger, and spend from what He has made you successors to. Those among you who believe and spend have deserved a great recompense.	Aminoo biAllahi warasoolihi waanfiqoo mimma jaAAalakum mustakhlafeena feehi faallatheena amanoo minkum waanfaqoo lahum ajrun kabeerun
057:008	Why should you not believe in God when the messenger is inviting you to believe in your Lord? And He has already taken a pledge from you, if you are believers.	Wama lakum la tu/minoona biAllahi waalrrasoolu yadAAookum litu/minoo birabbikum waqad akhatha meethaqakum in kuntum mu/mineena
057:009	He is the One who sends down to His servant clear revelations, to bring you out of the darkness into the light. God is Compassionate towards you, Merciful.	Huwa allathee yunazzilu AAala AAabdihi ayatin bayyinatin liyukhrijakum mina alththulumati ila alnnoori wa-inna Allaha bikum laraoofun raheemun
057:010	And why do you not spend in the cause of God, when God possesses all wealth in the heavens and the Earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the victory and fought. They attained a greater rank than those who spent after the victory and fought. And for each, God promises goodness. And God is Expert in everything you do.	Wama lakum alla tunfiqoo fee sabeeli Allahi walillahi meerathu alssamawati waal-ardi la yastawee minkum man anfaqa min qabli alfathi waqatala ola-ika aAAthamu darajatan mina allatheena anfaqoo min baAAdu waqataloo wakullan waAAada Allahu alhusna waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

057:011	Who will lend God a loan of goodness, to have it multiplied for him manifold, and he will have a generous recompense?	Man tha allathee yuqridu Allaha qardan hasanan fayudaAAifahu lahu walahu ajrun kareemun
057:012	The Day will come when you see the believing men and the believing women with their light radiating around them and to their right. "Good news is yours today, you will have paradises with flowing rivers, abiding therein. This is the great triumph!"	Yawma tara almu/mineena waalmu/minati yasAAa nooruhum bayna aydeehim wabi-aymanihim bushrakumu alyawma jannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feeha thalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu
057:013	On that Day, the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women will say to those who believed: "Wait for us! Let us absorb some of your light." It will be said: "Go back behind you, and seek light." So a barrier will be set up between them, whose gate separates mercy on the inner side, from retribution on the outer side.	Yawma yaqoolu almunafiqoona waalmunafiqatu lillatheena amanoo onthuroona naqtabis min noorikum qeela irjiAAoo waraakum failtamisoo nooran faduriba baynahum bisoorin lahu babun batinuhu feehi alrrahmatu wathahiruhu min qibalihi alAAathabu
057:014	They will call upon them: "Were we not with you?" They will reply: "Yes, but you led yourselves into temptation, and you hesitated, and doubted, and became misled by wishful thinking, until God's judgment came. You were diverted from God by arrogance."	Yunadoonahum alam nakun maAAakum qaloo bala walakinnakum fatantum anfusakum watarabbastum wairtabtum wagharratkumu al-amaniyyu hatta jaa amru Allahi wagharrakum biAllahi algharooru
057:015	"This Day, no ransom can be taken from you, nor from those who disbelieved. Your abode is the Fire, it is your patron; what a miserable abode."	Faalyawma la yu/khathu minkum fidyatun wala mina allatheena kafaroo ma/wakumu alnnaru hiya mawlakum wabi/sa almaseeru
057:016	Has not the time come for those who believed to open up their hearts for the remembrance of God, and the truth that is revealed herein? And they should not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and the waiting became long for them, so their hearts became hardened, and many of them were wicked.	Alam ya/ni lillatheena amanoo an takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wama nazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo kaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu al-amadu faqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona
057:017	Know that God revives the land after it had died. We have made clear to you the signs, perhaps you may understand.	IAAlamoo anna Allaha yuhyee al-arda baAAda mawtiha qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati laAAallakum taAAqiloona
057:018	Surely, the charitable men and charitable women, who have loaned God a loan of goodness, He will multiply their reward, and they will have a generous recompense.	Inna almussaddiqeena waalmussaddiqati waaqradoo Allaha qardan hasanan yudaAAafu lahum walahum ajrun kareemun
057:019	And those who believed in God and His messengers are the truthful ones. And the martyrs at their Lord will have their reward and their light. As for those who disbelieved and rejected Our revelations, they are the dwellers of Hell.	Waallatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi ola-ika humu alssiddeeqoona waalshshuhadao AAinda rabbihim lahum ajruhum wanooruhum waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo bi-ayatina ola-ika as-habu aljaheemi

057:020	Know that this worldly life is no more than play and amusement, and boasting among you, and an increase in wealth and children. It is like plants that are supplied by an abundant rain, which appear pleasing to the disbelievers. But then they dry-up and turn yellow, and become useless hay. And in the Hereafter there is severe retribution, and forgiveness from God and approval. This worldly life is no more than a deceiving enjoyment.	IAAlamoo annama alhayatu alddunya laAAibun walahwun wazeenatun watafakhurun baynakum watakathurun fee al-amwali waal-awladi kamathali ghaythin aAAjaba alkuffara nabatuhu thumma yaheeju fatarahu musfarran thumma yakoonu hutaman wafee al-akhirati AAathabun shadeedun wamaghfiratun mina Allahi waridwanun wama alhayatu alddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori
057:021	You shall race towards forgiveness from your Lord, and a Paradise whose width is as the width of the heaven and the Earth, prepared for those who believed in God and His messengers. Such is God's grace that He bestows upon whomever He wills. God is the Possessor of Infinite Grace.	Sabiqoo ila maghfiratin min rabbikum wajannatin AAarduha kaAAardi alssama-i waal-ardi oAAiddat lillatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi thalika fadlu Allahi yu/teehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
057:022	No misfortune can happen on Earth, or in yourselves, except it is decreed in a record, before We bring it about. This is easy for God to do.	Ma asaba min museebatin fee al-ardi wala fee anfusikum illa fee kitabin min qabli an nabraaha inna thalika AAala Allahi yaseerun
057:023	In order that you do not despair over anything that has passed you by, nor be happy of anything He has bestowed upon you. God does not like those who are boastful, proud.	Likayla ta/saw AAala ma fatakum wala tafrahoo bima atakum waAllahu la yuhibbu kulla mukhtalin fakhoorin
057:024	They are stingy, and order the people to be stingy. And for anyone who turns away, then know that God is the Rich, the Praiseworthy.	Allatheena yabkhaloona waya/muroona alnnasa bialbukhli waman yatawalla fa-inna Allaha huwa alghaniyyu alhameedu
057:025	We have sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and We sent down with them the Scripture and the balance, that the people may uphold justice. And We sent down the iron, wherein there is great strength, and many benefits for the people. So that God would distinguish those who would support Him and His messengers on faith. God is Powerful, Noble.	Laqad arsalna rusulana bialbayyinati waanzalna maAAahumu alkitaba waalmeezana liyaqooma alnnasu bialqisti waanzalna alhadeeda feehi ba/sun shadeedun wamanafiAAu lilnnasi waliyaAAlama Allahu man yansuruhu warusulahu bialghaybi inna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun

057:026	And We had sent Noah and Abraham, and We placed in their progeny the prophethood and the Scripture. Some of them were guided, while many were wicked.	Walaqad arsalna noohan wa-ibraheema wajaAAalna fee thurriyyatihima alnnubuwwata waalkitaba faminhum muhtadin wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona
057:027	Then We sent in their tracks Our messengers. We sent Jesus the son of Mary, and We gave him the Injeel, and We ordained in the hearts of his followers kindness and mercy. But they invented Monasticism which We never decreed for them. They wanted to please God, but they did not observe it the way it should have been observed. Consequently, We gave those who believed among them their recompense, while many of them were wicked.	Thumma qaffayna AAala atharihim birusulina waqaffayna biAAeesa ibni maryama waataynahu al-injeela wajaAAalna fee quloobi allatheena ittabaAAoohu ra/fatan warahmatan warahbaniyyatan ibtadaAAooha ma katabnaha AAalayhim illa ibtighaa ridwani Allahi fama raAAawha haqqa riAAayatiha faatayna allatheena amanoo minhum ajrahum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona
057:028	O you who believe, you shall reverence God and believe in His messenger. He will then grant you double the reward from His mercy, and He will make for you a light by which you shall walk, and He will forgive you. And God is Forgiving, Merciful.	Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha waaminoo birasoolihi yu/tikum kiflayni min rahmatihi wayajAAal lakum nooran tamshoona bihi wayaghfir lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
057:029	So that the followers of the Scripture should know that they have no power over God's grace, and that all grace is in God's hand. He bestows it upon whomever He wills. God is Possessor of Infinite Grace.	Li-alla yaAAlama ahlu alkitabi alla yaqdiroona AAala shay-in min fadli Allahi waanna alfadla biyadi Allahi yu/teehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
