Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High. |
Sabbihi isma rabbika al-aAAla
|
| 087:002 |
The One who created and developed. |
Allathee khalaqa fasawwa
|
| 087:003 |
And the One who measured and then guided. |
Waallathee qaddara fahada
|
| 087:004 |
And the One who brought out the pasture. |
Waallathee akhraja almarAAa
|
| 087:005 |
So He made it dry-up into hay. |
FajaAAalahu ghuthaan ahwa
|
| 087:006 |
We will make you study, so do not forget. |
Sanuqri-oka fala tansa
|
| 087:007 |
Except for what God wills, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. |
Illa ma shaa Allahu innahu yaAAlamu aljahra wama yakhfa
|
| 087:008 |
And We will make easy for you the way. |
Wanuyassiruka lilyusra
|
| 087:009 |
So remind, perhaps the reminder will help. |
Fathakkir in nafaAAati alththikra
|
| 087:010 |
He who is reverent will remember. |
Sayaththakkaru man yakhsha
|
| 087:011 |
And he who is wicked will avoid it. |
Wayatajannabuha al-ashqa
|
| 087:012 |
He will enter the great Fire. |
Allathee yasla alnnara alkubra
|
| 087:013 |
Then he will neither die in it nor live. |
Thumma la yamootu feeha wala yahya
|
| 087:014 |
Whosoever develops will succeed. |
Qad aflaha man tazakka
|
| 087:015 |
And remembers the name of his Lord, and reaches out. |
Wathakara isma rabbihi fasalla
|
| 087:016 |
No, you desire the worldly life. |
Bal tu/thiroona alhayata alddunya
|
| 087:017 |
But the Hereafter is better and more lasting. |
Waal-akhiratu khayrun waabqa
|
| 087:018 |
