Who is MacGregor edit
I want to hazard a guess, based on little more than a few searches, that the "Macgregor" who did a number of the translations here might be a James Macgregor. See this Internet Archive search; there seems to have been a James MacGregor involved in translations from the Italian of Dante and Machiavelli, so it seems plausible this might have been the same person. While the translation and the name "Macgregor" are published in many books of that era, none that I could find gives further attribution or identifying details. -Pete (talk) 01:21, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
