N. C. D.
editThe abbreviation "N. C. D." (or "N.C.D.") is used repeatedly on this page but it is never defined.
I cannot find a definition for this abbreviation anywhere in Wikipedia (nor in an extensive Google search!)
What does it mean?

In a footnote on page 55 of Handbook of the United States Political History for Readers and Students by Malcolm Townsend, it says "N.C.D. Nemine contradicente (Lat.), no one speaking in opposition; that is, unanimously, often abbreviated nem. con." Prosody (talk) 00:53, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
