Copyright status edit

Please note that while the original three chapters of this book were first published in 1912 and are thus (being published before 1923) in the public domain in the US, the last section titled "The Comment" was not written until 1925 and AFAIK, remains protected by copyright. In order to legitimately include this text on Wikisource, either "The Comment" should be removed or permission to GFDL "The Comment" should be obtained from the copyright holder. 192.35.232.241 20:02, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

The Comment edit

Surely the comment is short enough that it would be permissible fair use to QUOTE the whole of it, in a discussion of the work???? If so, why not add an introductory section of your own discussing it, in which you quote the whole of the comment, and then discuss it briefly??? (Crib wikipedia.)

Actually this "comment" is a chapter in this book bearing the same title. Sorry for inconvenience! --Sepand 18:55, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Crowley's comment edit

I would like to point out that if the comment is removed it will not make the work incomplete as the comment is not class A and should be considered a seperate document. Looking into my records the Ordo Templi Orientis holds a copyright as far back as 1926. That may be in relation to the comment or possibly other editing done to the print editions of the book. If permission needs to be obtained in order to publish the comment on this site I will get it, just let me know what needs to be done. Magosgruss 02/26/08
