The text in Wikisource is faithful to the PDF which appears on the right hand side of the screen when editing, but deviates from most common versions of the text online. One of two examples is that the final two words of Verse 28 are usually rendered as "clearer case" although the PDF from which this text derives does say "plainer case" as does the Wikisource version. Perhaps Browning had two versions of the poem. The penultimate line of verse 30 is also different. Most versions begin this line "Dotard, a-dozing" although our version says "Fool, to be dozing"
