Talk:The Art of War (Sun)/Section I

Latest comment: 14 years ago by Erel Segal in topic Can you please rephrase?

Line 16, second word, is a typo, should read "heeding my counsel". Alastair Haines 13:28, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Indeed. Sadly many online and printed copies have used the incorrect text.[1]
I have uploaded a copy of the original, and partially transcribed it: Page:Sun Tzu on The art of war.djvu/61. I love it "Mere logic should have kept him from penning such frothy balderdash." - it will be good to complete edition of this work, probably in addition to the our current abridged translation. --John Vandenberg (chat) 17:18, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can you please rephrase? edit

In the last section, I didn't understand the sentence "Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought". Can you please translate it to basic English? --Erel Segal (talk) 00:57, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
