The work has been split. I removed the split template (De fideli (talk))
Until chapter 6 the English version matches the French version, but after the chapters are not in the same order. Also in the English version there are 10 chapters, but there are only 9 chapters in the French version. -- bp

@BluePrawn - https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%27Homme_%C3%A0_la_peau_de_bique notes that the story, called "A tragedy in the Forest of Morgues" in English was not in the French version of the book.
