This template, still in draft form, is intended to be used for statutes enacted before the Public Law system was used.
Instead of Public Law numbers, Chapter numbers are used. Chapter numbers restart with each Session, not just with each Congress. Therefore each Session number must be included for the sake of differentiation.
If the code can be worked out, this template will be combined into {{Act of Congress}}.
