This template (Cdm) and it's related higher level templates were created to support the addition of appropriate character string sequences for letters and characters with diacritical marks, for which a single character in Unicode does not (currently) exist. Where such a character does exist in Unicode it should be used in preference to this template.
This template should ALWAYS be substituted.
Usage edit

Parameters edit
- Base character or letter.
- Hexadecimal Codepoint in lowercase for the diacritical marker concerned.
