Purpose

This template is used with the signature in signed articles of The New Student's Reference Work. A link to the author page is created; a signature is displayed which corresponds to what the article uses; and an author category is inserted.

Usage

The author-value and signature-value can also be specified with the named parameters author and signature respectively. Setting the named parameter nodot to any value allows the period at the end of the signature to be suppressed. This is done in NSRW when a label appears below the author's name.
