Usage edit
This template is intended to be used on pages in the index and page namespaces where they are part of a Wikisource translation into English from another language. It takes one variable, which is either unnamed or named language, and contains the language code of the original work.
- Example use
- For pages that are originally in Swahili:
{{Page translation|language=sw}}
- or just
{{Page translation|sw}}
The template should be put in the "footer" section of the relevant Index page.
Effects edit
The template will categorize the pages and indices into relevant categories which are subcategories of either Category:Translated pages or Category:Translated indexes depending on the namespace. If a category doesn't exist for the language you're translating from yet, create it based on the categories which already exist there.
