Usage edit
This template suffixes a character string with a single quote ' ('), and inserts:
- a narrow non-breaking space (U+202F) between the character string and the quote, except when the string ends with a punctuation character such as a comma (,), a period (.), an ellipsis (…), a colon (:), a semicolon (;).
- 1/8th of an em in the case of a ! or a ?.
Therefore, the characer string that matters to be passed as the parametre, is the very last character of it.
NOTE: This template formerly used ’ instead of ', but this usage is deprecated per Wikisource's current style guidelines
