No. S.R.O. 1-L 75 PD 1E-1 74 (Pt.)-993—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Chittagong 91 Act, 1914 (Bengal Act V of 1914). the Government is pleased to exempt the following from the payment of 100 per cent. wharfrent leviable under section 57 of the said Act on the undermentioned cargo imported through vessel as indicated below:

PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 128(74)/IMPORT

Dacca: the 17th December 1974.

In continuation of this office Public Notice Nos. 88(74)/Import. dated 20th July, 1974. 98(74)/Import. dated 29th August 1974, 102(74)/Import. dated 18th September I974 and 126(74)/Import, dated 51h December I974 it is notified for information of all concerned that the item ‘Dry Chillies’ having I.T.C. classification of 9/4 is permissible for import under Bangladesh Nationals Earnings Abroad Scheme up to 31st January, 1975, 129., shipment will have to be effected by 3lst January 1975.

In this connection it is clarified that with reference to this office Public Notice No. 126(74)/Import. dated 6th December, 1974 as already announced that import of ‘Salt' under the above scheme also is valid up to 3lst January, 1975, i.e., shipment will have to be effected by 3lst January 1975.

Designated Banks/Scheduled Banks are advised to process amendments for shipments dates and Letters of Credit accordingly. Such licences are not required to approach their respective Licensing Authorities for amendments in the licences individually which shall be deemed to have been made automatically.

PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 130(74)/IMPORT

Dacca, the 23rd December 1974.

It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that Cinema Houses duly sponsored by Director-General, Industries and having entitlement for Cinema Carbon recorded in their respective Pass Book will be licensed at 100% of HYE for Raw Materials (Cinema Carbon) under French Loan, dated 22nd June 1974. Sonali Bank is the Designated Bank. Letters of Credit must be established by 27th February 1975. Licences will issue with validity for shipment up to 30th June 1975. Other terms and conditions relating to procedure of utilisation of licence is as notified in this Office Public Notice No. 99(74)/Import, dated 10th September 1974. Eligible importers are advised to present licence forms to their respective licensing office on or before 15th January 1975.
