Bahadur Singhji, Thakur Sahib of Goher; Of Rajput descent; born, 1900; lost his father when only five years of age; Educated at the Raj Kumar College; the area of the state is 300 sq miles. Its population is 60,000 and its revenue is Rs. 7,00,000. The State is noted for its fine breed of Kathi horses, and for a large number of beautiful Jain temples on the Satrunjaya Hill, where about 5,000 Bania pilgrims resort every year from all parts of India. Entitled to a salute of 9 guns. Address: Palitana, Kathiawar, Bombay Presidency.
