KNIGHT, Charles Parsons (1829-97). An English artist born at Bristol, and a pupil of the Academy there. His first works were studies of scenery in Somerset and Devon; afterwards he painted “Durham from the North” (1857), and “The Stone Walls of Old England” (1861).
