DISEASE RAVAGES RUMANIA.

Medicines Sought in Germany to Curb Maladies Due to War.

AMSTERDAM, June 21.—Rumania is negotiating with Germany for large quantities of chemical preparation and other medical materials to combat diseases growing out of war conditions, which are raging with disastrous results in Rumanian territory, according to the Berlin Vossische Zeitung.

The population in some districts affected by the widespread wave of disease has been decimated, the newspaper says.
