The Plays of Euripides (Coleridge)

The Plays of Euripides (1891)
by Euripides, translated by Edward Philip Coleridge

The Plays of Euripides is a prose translation of the 19 surviving plays attributed to the Greek poet Euripides. The translations were made from the Greek text as edited by Paley, with notes where the translation deviates from that text.

Coleridge's translations were originally published in 1891 by George Bell & Sons. The copy here includes the 1910 reprinting of Volume I and the 1913 reprinting of Volume II, both by the same publisher.
