Is it awf’ly far,
That little star,
Or just a candle
I could handle
And blow out puff
When I’d had enough?
If I were tall,
Upon my toes
Just where it goes
Along the wall,
Couldn’t I pick it
Like a ball at cricket
Out of the sky?
I mean to try.
It can’t be far
That twinkly star,
It’ll blow out—Puff!
When I’ve had enough!
