Rugby Football—Given colours at Dublin University, seven years 1900-1906, and represented Ireland 1903-1909 (twenty matches in all—Captain three times). Obtained commission in Leinster Regt. Sept., 1914; wounded Gallipoli August, 1915. Transferred to Essex Regt. and promoted Major and Second in Command in France.
