Order of the Prime Minister

Whereas the House of Representatives resolved on the 20th day of August 2477 BE[1] to pass the Bill Amending the Penal Code, 2477 Buddhist Era (No. 6), and Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paramin Maha Prajadhipok Phra Pok Klao Chaoyuhua disagreed therewith;

Whereas the House of Representatives confirmed the same resolution on the 29th day of September 2477 BE[1] and Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paramin Maha Prajadhipok Phra Pok Klao Chaoyuhua failed to sign the bill within the time limit provided;

Whereas, according to the stipulations of section 36 of the Constitution, such bill can be promulgated as a law; and

Whereas it appears from the note of the President of the House of Representatives dated 17 April 2478 BE[2] that the said promulgation should then be proceeded with;

​Therefore, by virtue of the power under the stipulations of section 39 of the Constitution, the Prime Minister issues the present order directing the said bill to be published in the Royal Gazette in order that it shall thenceforth come into force as a law.
