XVI.
A perfect gem am I,
who in the midst of the worlds and the aeons.
An ironwork am I,
a great gorge of rock.
Every Dēw who threw himself on me was crushed,
on whom I threw myself I crushed.
Every Dēw who raises his head,
every amulet spirit who makes the waves of his countenance go up
and looks towards these souls with evil intent,
shall be beaten and plagued by the book of Manharbēl Estaqlus,
the little child who dwells at the pure source of light.
Let him be smitten with the fist of water,
with which the fire was smitten and went out,
by the power of Man the physician,
by the power of men of proven righteousness.
And life is victorious.
