Paragraph 1- After the give and take, they bring in the parties. The most prestigious of the judges says, so and so you are innocent and so and so you are guilty. A judge is prohibited from telling a party after he leaves the court that he found him innocent but his colleagues overruled him. One who does so is included in “holech rachil migaleh sod.”

Paragraph 2- If one of the parties asks that they write the ruling down in the manner described above in 14:4, they would not mention the names of those that found guilty and the names of those that found innocent. Rather, they would simply write so and so came with his adversary so and so in front of the court, and based on the court’s words, so and so was innocent and so and so was guilty.

Paragraph 3- If the liable party accepted the ruling and they told him to pay but he has not paid, we do not put a nidui on him until we warn him on Monday, Thursday and Monday. Following that, the court puts a nidui on him until he pays that which he owes. If he does not come forward to make a claim on his nidui for 30 days, we put a cherem on him. If he does not want to accept the ruling, we place a nidui on him immediately. See later in Siman 79 with respect to a case where he later says he paid.
