Paragraph 1- One can only collect for damages with clear proof and valid witnesses. We only accept testimony in the presence of the party, even if he or his witnesses were sick.

Paragraph 2- If an ox was grazing and a dead ox was discovered next to it, even if the dead ox was gored and this ox was warned regarding goring, or the ox was bit and this ox was warned regarding biting, we do not say that this ox must have gored or bit the other ox. Even if a camel was rampaging among other camel and a dead camel was found next to it, we do not say with certainty that this camel killed it, until valid witnesses see it.
