יחיד שלא התפלל אין חבירו מוציאו

If an individual person cannot blow the shofar, somebody else can sound it for him to fulfill his obligation. However, if an individual person [not in a minyan] has not prayed the nine blessings [of the Amidah], somebody else cannot pray to fulfill his obligation. Rem"a: Some disupte this and say that if the other person can pray, he can fulfill his obligation to prayer (Ra"n at the end of Rosh Hashanah, Mordechai, and Hagahot Asheri in the first chapter of Rosh Hashanah).

סעיף א

יחיד שלא תקע חבירו יכול לתקוע לו להוציאו ידי חובתו אבל יחיד שלא התפלל ט' ברכות אין חבירו יכול להוציאו: הגה ויש חולקין ואומרים דאם לא יכול להתפלל חבירו יכול להוציאו בתפלתו (ר"ן סר"ה ומרדכי והגהות אשירי ספ"ק דר"ה):
