Did I love You, you ask me, oh dear,
  Voice unknown –
So had Satan to love Lord God
  Before he was Satan!...

Did I love You, ask my nights
  Guardian angel –
Did I love You, ask in your power
  Clouds of my forehead!...

I pray with your love to mankind,
  I pray to God,
About her you ask once my eternity
  On threshold of hells!...

So far every lightning in soul got lost –
  As in widow's forest –
I will confess oneself only with lightning
  To my century!...
