Translation talk:Curious Dictionary of Nature, Art, Craft and Trade

I gave a short preface on the importance of the text (and feel the on-line dictionary should have this text on the rise of dictionaries), yet felt extremely uneasy about translating it into English (being no native speaker). Maybe Wikipedia is the medium for a joint work - I could well check the translation being a specialist for early 18th-century German texts... --Olaf Simons 09:28, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
