FLORIDA

US Route 23 Extension of Route

For the reason that the proposed route traverses the same corridor as several existing U. S. Routes and an Interstate Route; has low through travel indications and a number of unprotected railroad crossings; contains a section of relatively minor road.
Beginning at junction of present US 23 and US 17 in Jacksonville, thence in a southerly direction over US 17 to junction with State Route 19 northwest of Palatka, thence continue southerly over SR 19 via Rodman, Altoona, Eustis and Tavares to junction with State Route 33 in Groveland, thence continue southerly over SR 33 to junction with US 92 in north edge of Winter Haven.

Beginning at the Illinois-Missouri State line on the Chain-of-Rocks Bridge over the Mississippi River, thence easterly to State Route 3, thence north on SR 3 to Interstate 270, thence easterly on I-270 via Mitchell to State Route 111 thence north on SR-111 .3 mile to junction with present US 66 By-pass, thence easterly to junction with State Route 137 thence northeasterly via Edwardsvllle to junction with present US 66 at Hamel.

ARIZONA

US Route 93 Extension
Approved extension from Kingman to Wickenburg with commitment that the deficiencies in section approved be eliminated as rapidly as possible

Beginning at intersection with US 66, Interstate 40 and present US 93 northwest of Kingman, thence easterly on I-40 approximately 23 miles, thence south on new connection to State Route 93, thence southeasterly on SR 93 via Wikieup to Wickenburg.

COLORADO-NEW MEXICO-ARIZONA

Establishment of a New US Route

Beginning at the New Mexico-Colorado State line near Four Corners connecting with State Route 40 in Colorado, thence southwest to the New Mexico-Arizona line connecting with Arizona State Route 364 north of Carrizo.

(Arizona Section)

Beginning at the Arizona-New Mexico State line on State Route 364 north of Carrizo, thence southwesterly to junction with State Route 64 at Carrizo, thence westerly and southwesterly via Mexican Water, Tonalea and Tuba City to junction with US 89 thence south via Cameron to junction with US Route 66 in Flagstaff.
