An Act to continue for a further Period certain Provisions of the Union Relief Aid Acts


[Assented to 28th April, 1864.]


Preamble.

 'WHEREAS it is expedient that certain Provisions of the Union Relief Aid Acts, 1862 and 1863, should be further extended for a limited Period:' Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same:

Certain Provisions of the Union Relief Aid Acts continued

1. That all the Provisions of the said Acts (except such as authorize the Contributions of Unions and Parishes in the Counties of Lancaster, Chester, and Derby in aid of any other Union therein) shall be extended and apply to the Expenditure for the Quarter of the Year ending at Lady Day in this Year.

Power to issue Orders limited

2. The Power of the Poor Law Board to issue any Order under this Act shall determine on the First Day of July next.

Short Titles.

3. The Acts referred to and this Act may be cited and described for all Purposes as "The Union Relief Aid Acts, 1862, 1863, 1864."
