United Nations Security Council Resolution 116
Adopted unanimously by the Security Council at its 732nd meeting, on 26 July 1956
The Security Council,
Having examined the application of Tunisia [1],
Recommends to the General Assembly that Tunisia be admitted to membership in the United Nations.
