Adopted unanimously by the Security Council at its 2918th meeting, on 17 April 1990 ([1])

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Republic of Namibia for admission to the United Nations, ([2])

Recommends to the General Assembly that the Republic of Namibia be admitted to membership in the United Nations.
