Feb. 19, 1833.

I. A Resolution authorizing the delivery of certain papers in the Department of State to the commissioners for settling claims under the treaty with France, of the second of February, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two.

Secretary of State to deliver evidence of certain claims.Resolved, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of State be, and he is hereby, authorized to deliver to the commissioners for the settlement of claims under the treaty with France, ratified and confirmed on the second day of February, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two, the evidences of any claim submitted to, and rejected by the commissioners of the settlement of claims under the treaty with Spain, which was made on the twenty-second day of February, one thousand eight hundred and nineteen, and finally ratified and confirmed on the twenty-second day of February, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-one, which evidences shall be returned to the Department of State when the commission shall expire.
