Chap. XV.An Act making appropriations for the revolutionary and other pensioners of the United States, for the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four.

Appropriations for pensioners.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums be, and the same are hereby, appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the pensioners of the United States, for the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four:

For the revolutionary pensioners under the several acts prior to that of the seventh of June, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two,June 7, 1832, ch. 126. in addition to an unexpended balance of one hundred and forty-four thousand six hundred and twenty-three dollars and twenty-one cents, the sum of nine hundred and one thousand six hundred and fifty-six dollars.

For the invalid pensioners under the various laws, in addition to the unexpended balance of one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine dollars and seventy cents, the sum of three hundred and six thousand one hundred and twenty-five dollars.

For pensions to widows and orphans, seven thousand five hundred dollars.
