Chap. CLVIII.—An Act to provide for rebuilding the frigate Congress.

Appropriation for rebuilding the frigate Congress.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of one hundred and eighty-one thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to rebuild the frigate Congress; and no part of said sum shall be carried to the surplus fund, notwithstanding any general provision in any other act to the contrary.
