Chap. CLXIV.An Act making appropriations for certain roads in the Territory of Florida.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Appropriation. That the following sums of money be, and the same are hereby, appropriated, for repairing and opening certain roads in the Territory of Florida, viz:

From Tallahassee to Iola.For opening and constructing a road from Tallahassee to Iola, on the river Appalachicola, the sum of ten thousand dollars.

From St. Augustine to Picolata.For repairing the road, and reconstructing the bridges and causeways thereon, from St. Augustine to Picolata, seventeen thousand three hundred dollars.

From Jacksonville to Tallahassee.For repairing the road from Jacksonville, by the Mineral Springs, to Tallahassee, the sum of ten thousand dollars: the said sums to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
