Chap. CCLXXX.An Act concerning the payment of Florida militia.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Appropriations for subsistence in act 23d Aug. 1842, ch. 192, applicable to subsistence furnished in 1839 and 1840. that the appropriations for subsistence made in the act entitled “An act for the payment of Florida militia called into service in the years eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, and eighteen hundred and forty,” and approved August twenty-third, eighteen hundred and forty-two, shall be applicable to the settlement of any claims for subsistence furnished to the Florida militia in eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, and eighteen hundred and forty, not heretofore settled:Proviso.
Proviso.
Provided, That no supplies be paid for other than those authorized by law or regulation: And provided, further, That the appropriation specified in said act shall not be exceeded.
