Chap. VI.An Act to authorize the Judge of the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, to hold a special session of the said court.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Judge of the Special session authorized.District court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania be, and he is hereby, authorized to hold a special session of the said court at a time to be by him designated, in lieu of the regular session which was appointed by law to be begun and held on the third Monday of February, one thousand eight hundred and forty-two, but was prevented by a vacancy in the office of the district judge; and the marshal, clerk, and all other officers of the said court are hereby enjoined and required to make all needful arrangements for carrying into effect the provisions of this act.
