Using 510, there are two ways to find the value of the exponent.


1. Multiply the base (5) by the number of times expressed in the exponent (10).

   


2. Or, the easy way.

a. Multiply one-half of the number sentence or 5x5x5x5x5

   

b. Multiply the product (3125) with itself
