a. The detainee is associated with al Qaida:

1. The detainee traveled from his home ########## to Iran via Syria in July 2001.
2. The detainee associated with a Saudi providing relief to a refugee organization.
3. The Saudi is a known operative for al Wafa.
4. Al Wafa is a terrorist organization.
5. The same Saudi facilitated the detainee's illegal entry into Pakistan].
6. Pakistani officials arrested the detainee late November or early December 2001.
7. The detainee admitted to being a terrorist.
