Manual of Style
editUse {{SIC|wort|word}} if you think the printer has typeset something wrong. Also if it is in reference to someone or something, use SIC and create a link to the Author page or wikipage e.g. Lord Shaftbury . Be generous and respectful to the author's idiosyncrasies as English is an evolving language and as such these books demonstrate its progress (or not).
Wiki Manual of style dictates the following changes to accommodate line-wrapping: Contractions—such as e. g.—are transcribed tight:e.g., i.e., a.m., B.C.; ellipses are ... not . . .;
Paragraphs are separated by a line-hard return. If there is a line between paragraphs then use
double hard return
End-of-line returns stop bold and italics—close the text. Close emdashes—especially watch for end or beginnings of lines.
- Wiki indents with a : at the beginning of the line
A space at the beginning of a line creates a box
