Tao Te Ching translation edit

Hello 百家姓之四. I noted that you begun work on Tao Te Ching (Wikisource translation 2); however, the Wikisource translation is intended to be a collaborative effort by the entire community, so there should only be one. Is there a particular reason you've begun a new version instead of improving the existing translation? I can't see any dispute or disagreement that might discourage editing the former. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk/map) 03:05, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I won't make names like this again... Well, I just want to start a new version, but I am lazy, I used an old name with a "2" at the end, There's no relationship between my translation and theirs, Well, now I renamed it, Is it okay now? 百家姓之四 08:10, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
The name itself was ok. I'm wondering why you don't merge your translation into the existing translation; Wikisource translations are in the name of the community, not individual users, so there's nothing wrong with changing Tao Te Ching (Wikisource translation). // [admin] Pathoschild (talk/map) 19:07, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see... Thank you for your reminding! 百家姓之四 08:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

on the merge proposal edit

Hi, thank you for suggesting that these two translations be merged. I think we need to seek advice from everyone. Do you feel comfortable raising this merge proposal on our Scriptorium and asking people on zh Wikisource to help discuss this? John Vandenberg (chat) 06:24, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
