Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikisource! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you continue to edit without a username, your IP address is used to publicly identify you.

In any case, I hope you enjoy donating your time to grow the Wikisource library that is free for everyone to use! In discussions, please sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question here (click edit) and place {{helpme}} before your question. If you are familiar with Internet Relay Chat, you can come and ask for help in #wikisource. Again, welcome! -- billinghurst (talk) 07:56, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cyber-stalking edit

It looks as though you are stalking User:Rschen7754. I would ask for you to desist immediately. Issues that continue will be escalated within WMF community as that behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. -- billinghurst (talk) 07:56, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hmm. Feisty. I personally do not care what battle that you have with another person, that is your business. I do mind when you bring it to this different site, and will basically resolve combative editing that is not relevant to our purpose. You will not be using our site for fights and stalking. Absolutely not. If you wish to contribute positively to our site, you are welcome, and will be supported.
If your fight relates to a wiki, use the issue resolution process for that wiki to have it resolved. If you will not do that, then go somewhere else, go there quickly and don't darken our doors. Regards. -- billinghurst (talk) 10:20, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
