Hello Anonymous Dissident, welcome to Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

You'll find an (incomplete) index of our works listed at Wikisource:Works, although for very broad categories like poetry you may wish to look at the categories like Category:Poems instead.

Please take a glance at our help pages (especially Adding texts and Wikisource's style guide). Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page! John Vandenberg (chat) 07:28, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Template:Wikipediaref edit

Just so you know, I'm pretty sure that putting a pipe after a variable in a wikilink doesn't actually autopipe it inside the template. I'm not sure whether it does if you substitute it, but the template currently isn't working since your changes. I'll have a look and see if I can fix it, but I'm not really sure what you were trying to change... Jude (talk) 10:22, 4 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your solution seems sound. I'm sorry I didn't check earlier; I just assumed it would work. Perhaps {{!}} was required. Best, —Anonymous DissidentTalk 12:41, 4 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Broken redirects edit

Thanks, they were the result of a badly named djvu. I assume you checked that nothing linked to them. I had marked some of them as soft redirects, and intended to get someone to mop up my mess when I check the work and add the finishing touches. Is it okay to use {{Sdelete}} for redirects I create when fouling up? Regards, Cygnis insignis (talk) 13:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nothing linked to them. And yeah, {{sdelete}}'s the template for it. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 04:57, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edittools anomaly edit

Looking at Edittools, the span plainlinks is busted by splitting at the span. I had a look at WP's version, and I cannot see what may be the problem. I managed to fix the comment marker there. Ideas? -- billinghurst (talk) 11:03, 25 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

candidate for Commons edit

Gday AD. Just doing some tidying up of uploaded images, and I see that the above work is loaded at WS, and not at Commons. Is there any impediment to transwiki'ing to Commons? -- billinghurst (talk) 11:13, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not at all. I'll try and get around to doing it later today. Thanks for letting me know. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 22:32, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cross-namespace redirects edit

Thanks for Joining Popular Science Monthly WikiProject edit

Anonymous Dissident, thanks for joining the Popular Science Monthly WikiProject. If you have any question or need any help, please let me know. Once again welcome and thanks for the help! --Mattwj2002 (talk) 01:23, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Running headers edit

Hi Anonymous and thanks for the help. I don't format the running headers of the TPSM, but I am offering to create a text file of all the headers, {{rh|left=nnn|''THE POPULAR SCIENCE MONTHLY""}} with the even page numbers, to be pasted. This would solve half the titles. — Ineuw (talk) 16:20, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good idea. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 12:38, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not gone edit

Just been extremely busy. Expect to return in a few days. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 13:39, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Little request edit

Notice modeled after [1]

As Template:New texts is monitored in IRC, and many users have it in their Watchlists, I was wondering whether you would consider adding the name of the text being added to the edit summary, rather than solely +1,-1. Even if it is just have +Name of work, -1 that would be most helpful. Thanks. -- Cirt (talk) 04:20, 21 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
