Rendering edit

Good stuff lately... you took to it far faster than most folks that come through here !

Quick question - some folks are having rendering issues (not your doing) with the finished mainspace USSaL pages and was just wondering if you "see anything out of whack" or not and curious to know under which browser & version. -- George Orwell III (talk) 02:07, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I have meaning to for a while but it seemed to burdensome. Int21h (talk) 03:14, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
If your talking about the side notes overlapping, yes I am aware. I did not want to deal with spreading them out, because it seems to be a design issue. Other than that I don't think I noticed anything. I was using Chrome but I also use Firefox; it is present on both. Int21h (talk) 19:30, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sidenotes overlapping each other (at times) is a long known issue, but the question is more about sidenotes overlapping the mainbody of content under Layout 2 or not. Last I checked around, they were almost touching the content but not overlapping it just yet. -- George Orwell III (talk) 22:31, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I see where they are like 1 or 2 pixels from touching... Depending on how the division (div) tags are used, there might not be a buffer, ie. dead pixels, in between. (Not sure about how HTML is being used for typesetting.) Combined with the fact that the sidenotes are vertically spaced assuming the column width given such that they overlap on wider column widths, I think the typesetting design/layout of the Chapter/Act pages should be re-designed. I should also probably note I am not a good designer. Int21h (talk) 03:14, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
