Hello, SoLando, welcome to Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

You'll find an (incomplete) index of our works listed at Wikisource:Works, although for very broad categories like poetry you may wish to look at the categories like Category:Poems instead.

Please take a glance at our help pages (especially Adding texts and Wikisource's style guide). Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page!

Greetings, stranger ;-) SoLando 08:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
So it looks like you're from Liverpool, excellent, we've been without any solid people to help fill out Wikisource:United Kingdom for a while now. There are dozens of articles already on the project that just need to be properly listed, and of course hundreds more that could be added :) Seeing you're on the Military History wikiproject, I suppose I should also point you towards Wikisource:Military texts, again, same story. I'm not sure what religion you practise, but I promise it can be found on Portal:Religious texts! Again, please watchList the indexes that apply to you, and if you can do your part to help improve them, even better! :) Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Cookbooks 08:15, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
One article initiated. I'm satisified with my day's "efforts" ;-). I can't promise even moderate activity, but I'll try to contribute to whatever extent possible and adopt a WikiGnome approach ;-). Those pages are watchlisted now. Your guidance has been invaluable. It's always strange editing another project, without all the amenities of Wikipedia. Anyway, regards, SoLando (Talk) 09:26, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
