Where are you Going My Pretty Maid

Where are you Going My Pretty Maid

According to The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations (5th ed.1999), an early printing of the text is contained in Archaeoligica Cornu-Britannica (1790) by William Pryce.

The musical setting by Isaac Nathan of the usual melody for this song predates 1864, the year of his death. It is possible that Nathan composed the melody himself, though it could be an arrangement of a preexisting tune.

One version is also called Dabbling in the Dew.
