John Leech and Sons, Grosvenor St. Mills, Stalybridge, 1891-96; Manager and Engineer in Chief of Ewo Cotton Spinning and Weaving Co., Ltd., Shanghai, since 1897; member of Council of Shanghai Architects' and Kngineers' Society; Past President of Association of Lancastrians in China.
