I created this page so I would have a suitable talk page to write this :-)
On the page Encyclopædia Britannica, Ninth Edition/Austria there are comments in the margins. I experimented with using {{outside L}} and {{outside R}}, and because of the placement of the text in the margins I think it looks better on the right rather than the left.
I think it is a good idea to use {{section}} as well as {{outside R}} so that other article (or other places in the same article) can link to the name in the section.
